The second phase of the Fenshan BTO project was completed on August 22, 2019, supplying 45,000 tons of reclaimed water daily to Kaohsiung’s Linhai Industrial Zone
Divided into two phases, the first phase of the Fengshan BTO project involves the construction of a reclaimed water plant and a water transmission and distribution pipeline. Completion of the first phase on August 22, 2018, supplied 25,000 tons of reclaimed water daily to the industrial zone.
With the completion of the second phase of this project, daily capacity of reclaimed water supply increased by 20,000 tons with daily supply reaching 45,000 tons per day, the equivalent to one-fifth of the daily water demand of Kaohsiung’s coastal industrial zone.
Completion of the second phase has greatly improved water resource scheduling in Kaohsiung, laying the foundation for future industrial development and gradually realizing the goal of sustainable water resource development.
